Q: What does "Three-way automatic shutoff" mean?
A: Three way shutoff means it will shut off after being idle for 15 minutes upright or 30 seconds in the sideways or flat positions.
A: It does not say "Anti-Calc" on the iron but the user manual states that it has an anti-calcium system.

Q: Can tap water be used or does this iron require distilled water?
A: Yes, tap water works great with it! It won't hurt the iron as far as I can tell, seems to be working just fine. If you know your tap water has a lot of additives or deposits in it, you could try running it through a filter first if you want. But I haven't had any issues whatsoever using normal tap water.
