Q: Does this speaker have really good bass?
A: That depends on your expectation. The actual speakers put out some pretty good bass on their own. The sound is very decent. That being said, the dedicated subwoofer seems to be lacking. It does work but for its size and being a dedicated unit which sole purpose is bass it does not impress me. If it puts out more bass than the speakers it is not by much and because this unit is large as a whole you almost are left feeling that theycould have just left the subwoofer out. So in a nutshell, this entire unit produces decent bass but if you rate just the subwoofer then you are left puzzled as to why this piece is so big and does not seem to meet expectations
