Q: Is this a very sturdy headset? I sometimes can be a little rough with it
A: Yes, it's sturdy enough. Not as fragile as it looks.
A: Yes the sides come off because you can customize the color of the headset. Just make sure you line them back up perfectly. They can click back in without being perfectly straight and they will come back out easily. Once I lined mine back up they have not popped out since.
A: Yes, they can be wired. They come with a cable that allows you to plug them in directly to your controller if you would like.
Q: Does the USB come separate at any stores or here? I broke mine );
A: You can probably ask Sony support and they can sell you a new one.
Q: Can you use with cell phone?
A: Not wirelessly, the headphones don't use bluetooth. It comes with an audio cable that you can plug into your phone and use it that way. When you use an audio cable you can use the headphone with the power off which is nice.
A: They are very comfortable, I have no issues. Try another pair. Maybe first pair were faulty. Good time to get them because Bestbuy has extended return for the holidays. Have until middle or end of January to return them if they don't fit right.
