Great film re-make
Many young viewers may not have seen the original film (with Danny Kaye). This re-make is shot in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world (Iceland). The visual effects are terrific; but the juxtaposition between the familial/business-related inter-personal dynamics make this a modern classic comedy satire. Ben Stiller and Kristen Wiig create the necessary space for the viewer to enter the film and experience the magic.
Walter Mitty couldn't have been a better movie. I was worried about another remake of an old classic but Ben Stillar ( directed and acted ) did an incredible job composing each and every shot in the movie. Every scene is like a beautiful photo.
Stillar does a masterful job of playing Walter Mitty as well and you won't soon forget the helicopter pilot or Kristen Wiig who is perfect as Walter's love interest.
Watch it on Blu Ray and you'll feel the same way I do.
I needed this one in my collection as I'm sure I'll be watching it over and over again
I think I relate to Walter a little. I just wish I had the chance to just get up and took risks like did.
He went out of his comfort zone and in the end He succeed on every level.
