The automatic keep-warm feature of this Tiger JNP-1500 8-cup rice cooker holds rice at the proper temperature until you're ready to serve. The 1-button operation ensures simple use, and the nonstick bowl facilitates cleanup.
Expensive, and extremely poor instructions

I bought this thinking that you get what you pay for. I was wrong. First, this has the worst instructions ever. I wanted a large rice cooker, so I can make big batches at one time. I also liked the retractable cord feature. I think this unit would work, except that the instructions don't tell you how much rice to water you should use. It comes with a measuring cup, but the instructions say "To cook 3 cups of rice, fill to the 3 line." So is that 3 cups of cooked rice or uncooked? That's it for the cooking instructions. Many of the inprinted instructions on the bowl and exterior are in Japanese! (at least I guess they are, given that I dont' actually read Japanese). I tried using this once, and the rice burned to the bottom of the cooker. I would gladly return this item, but I destroyed the box. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE EXPENSIVE PRICE TAG!!!
