Sevendust. Give them credit. They are still rocking when many would have hung it up. Being an "angry band", it is hard to maintain that angst when you have families, kids, mortgage, etc. They continue to find ways to complain about being mistreated in some form or fashion. . . which is very appealing to the everyman as we all have days we want to go off on someone. I was looking for a little more from this acoustic album. It is not bad, but it is not amazing. Some of the rework of existing hits is more interesting than the new tunes. It is a good album to work to, not too loud, but up tempo enough to keep you awake. Cheers to the effort and their longevity. I would like to see them stretch themselves artistically as they have great pipes and musicianship. I'd like to see what they could do with a prog-type style. Extend tunes to 7-8 minutes and have fun. I think your fans would appreciate it.

I am a gigantic fan of sevendust, however i am not usually impressed with accustic remakes. i like accustic music just not of originaly heavy songs. this is an unexpectedly great album. not completely accustic just enough to make the difference appealling. highly recommend it.

Great album from a great rock group. The acoustic style really works because of Witherspoons vocals. A solid contrast with melodic guitars against a strong, deep, emotional voice. Most of the songs are great and will be great listen after listen. A few dogs, but that is typical.
