Quality WiFi card
This is a well made WiFi card. It's a sturdy, solidly build card, and it works very well. The default drivers (from TP-Link's site) are okay but very outdated. Newer drivers can be downloaded from third party sites. Both the older and newer drivers work perfectly fine under Windows 10, although TP-Link's management utility does not detect the card (which is fine with me, as Windows is more than capable of managing the card by itself). There are a plethora of configuration options for this card under Windows, far more than my previous TP-Link card had, which is quite nice. The antennas the card came with are, well, bog-standard antennas. They aren't bad, but they're not the greatest if you have some walls to go through and want 5GHz, so I hooked the card up to a set of Super Power Supply 9dBi antennas via three heavily shielded TP-Link TL-ANT24EC3S 10ft extension cables, and relocated the antennas to the other side of my desk for better signal.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this card, although I do want to note that due to 802.11ac's inherent issues with 256-QAM, don't expect to achieve the maximum data rate of 1300Mbps. This card tops out at 878Mbps for me, which I am satisfied with. You can only expect to achieve maximum data rates with an actual line-of-sight to the router or some equivalent situation where the 5GHz signal is exceptionally strong, which I don't have, and even powerful antennas and shielded extension cables cannot overcome this limitation (although they did dramatically boost my 5GHz signal strength).

Excellent wireless card for Win 7.
The card is excellent and very fast under Windows 7. Getting it to work properly in Windows 10 takes some time, and you'll likely want to Google for several different solutions as not everyone experiences the same issues.

a nice option in a flooded market
It was easily installed and I was up and running in just a few minutes. It works with 2.4 or 5 GHz. Speeds are fastest of course using 5GHz and AC connections .
In my experience with this you wont see much, if any, speed improvement over your current card and wireless system if they are already using 5GHz band (even if using N) .
