When you buy this just go ahead and take the barriers out and throw them away. In order to turn this off you must unscrew the head of the unit which is the magnetic part. Downside is that since it’s magnetic it moves around in storage while on the move and the head unscrews the rest of the way since it was loose so the flashlight part wouldn’t die and then the spring inside, the head, and the batteries are now lost. So do yourself a favor and just get a magnetic one and save a few bucks or screw the head on tight with no batteries inside it if you think you can keep track of those little button type ones. Wish it had a switch or something instead.
