Tumi Quality!
I already have a larger Tumi computer satchel, but was looking for a padded insert to protect my new 12 inch MacBook laptop when I noticed this smaller Tumi at my local Best Buy. I didn't like the cheap neoprene inserts available for nearly $70 and spent an extra $30 for the Tumi. (I noticed that the $70 neoprenes are now on sale for $35) It is large enough to fit my MacBook in the main compartment, my old bulky iPad 2 in one of the side compartments, and a compartment for pens, earphones, and small misc items to function as a self contained laptop case; yet, small enough to fit in the center compartment of my larger Tumi satchel should I need more room. It do wish that it came with strap attachments when used as a stand alone case to free up my hands while carrying it; however, works great as a modular case in conjunction with my larger Tumi. Great QUALITY and VALUE!

PERFECT FIT
The Tumi was priced high but it is a high quality laptop cover/carrier with a handy zippered pouch for accessories. It is very sleek and the perfect fit for my mac book air.

Case for Macbook Air
This is an excellent case. It contains a compartment which holds the Macbook Air (11.6"). There is a secondary compartment which will hold the CD/DVD reader (Mac Version) and the very thick cord which comes with the computer. In the very front compartment you can store the power adapter (recharger), an external smart mouse, and various small cords. There is a spot for pens and cards. All of this does not increase the thickness of the case. The only drawback to this case is the price. I paid $99 plus tax. Maybe this brand is the best; however, I can't imagine that the ballistic material is that expensive and further looking may have resulted in perfectly acceptable case at half the price. It is a hand only type case--in other words no handles or shoulder strap is provided and there are no attachment points to use it as a shoulder bag. This may be a drawback for some individuals in that you have to carry it. I believe it is quite useful in an office setting or home environment where you want to store the computer and its accessories under a desk and have everything handy to use. It is not the kind of case you would use as an everyday item. I purchased it for this purpose...home use to hold the computer. If I were going to carry it with me, I would have chosen a completely different kind of bag/holder.
