Looked for a fryer to replace one from the 1980s. This one is quick, easy to clean. Only slightly negative comment would be that the oil seeps through the vents in the cover and gets all over the temperature controls - that part could have been designed better. It has worked well for 10+ months so far.

It heated up more quickly than I expected so it didn't take too long to get to fry my first meal. Afterwards it was very easy to clean up with all of the parts separating.
