A: I just purchased the MGD5500FC (gas) dryer & matching washer and they fit the XHPC155YC pedestals. The XHPC155YC pedestals are NOT WHITE pedestals, they are for the metallic slate/diamond. The white pedestals are XHPC155XW. Www.maytag.com has a chat option that can answer any questions for you. If BestBuy delivers the appliance & pedestal they install on the pedestal and verify the unit is running. Keep the feet that come with the appliance in case you ever want to take it off the pedestal.
