A: Yes. The speakers are detached from the receiver and the speaker wires are long but can easily be switched out for even longer wires. It's a small system, which is what I wanted, but the sound is amazing. I hooked mine up to my TV. Love it.

A: Extention speakers can be added with a speaker switch that will keep the impedance balanced. I use a four pair switch sold by Radio Shack and it works great.

A: Therz @ least 1 apparently "BIG?" stictly REMOTES seller on line. I email-inquired about a replacement for an AOC TV I bot from Radio Shack about 15yrs ago. He got back to me w/honest info (didnt try to sell me junk, etc) that I couldn't get it! Guy was knowledgable, etc! If I could find him, a blind man could find him! ; ) I spoke to him on the phone too! GL!

Q: can you use wireless blue tooth headphones with this and if so, which ones are recommended? The manual for this says it's blue tooth class 2 but I'm not that tech savvy and don't want to waste money on headphones that may not work with it.

Really fit the bill!
I needed a small stereo/radio setup to replace my small JVC that was 20 years old. This Yamaha fit the bill with good sound, good AM/FMradio reception with antennas, blue tooth option, and equalizer options on the remote, Single CD player works well too. This system is sleek and easily fit on an upper book shelf. Owner's manual has clear and complete instructions.

Yamaha MCR B020 CD/Radio is Good for its Price!
I’ve used the Yamaha MCR B020 CD/Radio Player for a couple of years now and think it’s a good value for the money. The sound quality is quite good, and the speakers have 4 inch drivers. Ports in the rear of the speakers enhance bass response and can produce all the bass response you’ll ever need. With the treble and mid settings all the way up and the bass settings a couple of clicks lower, the sound is a little bass-heavy but you can fine tune the sound to your liking. At higher volumes the bass response can be overpowering and muddy the sound to a degree. At normal volume levels the unit sounds good for CD’s and radio. You can listen with headphones if you want. I like that feature and the fact that the CD player will shut itself off a few minutes after the CD ends. There is a USB port on the unit so you can charge your cellphone too. The Yamaha MCR B020 CD/Radio is a good value for the money. Reading other peoples’ reviews brings up the issue of how durable this unit might be in the long run though. For the last couple of years the MCR B020 has worked great for me though!
