This is the 2nd Aluratek webcam I’ve bought because I want one for all of our computers! First of all, the quality is 1000x better than a laptop camera. The view is also waaaay wider than a laptop camera. The microphone is so nice so that you can have your laptop closed and still do Zoom chats. We also used the microphone to record voice recording for Build a Bears. Definitely worth the buy. Also I didn’t have to install anything.

I love vintage-looking electronics (I have a vintage record player that sneakily has bluetooth capabilities and I even have a bluetooth typewriter), so I was in love with the look of this microphone. Set up of the microphone was seamless and I tested the microphone quality a few times while on work calls, to great results. The webcam wasn't as effective as I struggled to get a clear picture even after troubleshooting. All in all, I'm still thrilled with the microphone and its aesthetic so 1 out of 2 ain't bad :)

This is a very fragile camera and has a hard time staying connected to the system. The microphone is better than your built in mic but not great for higher quality broadcasting. Great for a kid as a starter unit but not what you would want if you are looking to produce higher content.

First this is the perfect size for my work desk. Not clunky and it looks sleek and cute. It’s easy to use. My zoom coworkers can hear me better now too lol. Overall happy with my purchase

Ordered this to improve the quality of my work meetings and Zoom classes! I'm so happy with it. I'm using it with my Macbook and it is very easy to switch to the webcam and microphone using the drop down options when Facetime, Zoom, or other apps are open. The webcam is much sharper than the Macbook webcam and also shows more in the image. It's great for multiperson videochats. It's also brighter and more vibrant! The microphone is also great with its three settings. One lets you mute yourself so that you know no sound is going through to the meeting. The other options let you focus in on your voice or work more like the computer, picking up any noises. The former section (tilting the control to the left) really accentuates the voice, making it much louder and clearer to hear. Overall impressed! Excited to see how my colleagues find the noise quality :)

It was good but couldn't focus the camera so I returned it and replace it with Logitech. Quality built. I was unlucky for that set

Good mic. I use it for my zoom and team meetings and my voice to the other parties sound clear with no issues. It’s portable, easy to use and does not occupy that much space on my desk. Plus you don’t need to face and or get too close to the mic for your audience to hear you.

The webcam is MUCH better quality than expected. The mic was found and functioning right away when connected to any Windows 10 machine I have, Could be just me getting used to it- but it picks up a lot of extra room noise. Need to find the sweet spot still.

It is perfect exactly what I needed I like the microphone direct knob to create a direct voice capture or a more environmental sound capture. If using a chrome book you have to do a little more setting set up and won't work with simply plugging the camera in. Other than that good stuff.

Bought this for my adult son, he uses it on his gaming computer, and on steam, twitch, and other sites, he said the microphone is awesome, and the webcam is great for what he uses it for, I mean it is not top of the line, but it does what it says and what he needs it for. just to stream why he is playing. He said that it is also good for facetime and Zoom calls, He has had it for 3 months now and uses them daily. I was concerned at first because of some of the reviews, I was also afraid that it wasn't going to be good enough for his gaming computer, but it turned out to be a good purchase so far, so all in all I am happy that I got it for him for Christmas.

For the price you can't beat this combination ! the webcam is great for streaming and zoom, The mic is really light but the sound is good . This is great for someone who wants to start streaming on twitch ect.

The webcam has a wide angle, which is why I bought it. Others did not allow two people sitting on a sofa with a storage bin in the middle to be seen on camera unless one was hunched against the bin. With this one two can sit comfortably and be seen. Also, the quality is very clear, according to our friends. We have not used the microphone yet.

The camera works great and the speakers is good. It doesn't sound as good as I was expecting but it gets the job done.

These items work perfect for what I use it for and that is, a camera and mike for my zoom meetings on my computer. I bought these two items together at a great price on Best Buy Deal of the Day. Easy to use.

The webcam is awesome, but the microphone is not. The microphone is rarely used, but still it stops functioning after couple of months. Luckily I bought a warranty for this and was able to return it. I would still recommend it just coz its cheap.

It is just a microphone, I guess. One that works well. The real upside is the feeling it gives that you are in a broadcast studio. Ditto for the webcam PS....pricing between every-day and sales can be considerable on this product so try price match or bide your time.

Great little webcam that has a mic but then the professional series MIC amps up the sound quality for sure. If you do a lot of video or are a youtuber, I would recommend this combo. Only drawback would be it does not have the lighting bracket, otherwise great purchase.
