Two things are important - one is the wattage, and the other is the connector to the computer - Apple keeps changing the design. If you go to the Apple Icon on the Menu Bar and click on About this Mac, a window will open. Toward the lower left, there's an option to select System Report. Click on that. Scroll down and click on Power. At the bottom of the Power Display, there's a list of specs about the AC Charger. You will find the Wattage for your charger listed here.
