Excellent build quality. A little heavier than expected, but you’re getting a solid chassis. Trackpad is large and very nice to use. The biggest hurdle to get used to is the lack of legacy ports (it only has thunderbolt ports). However, for home use, this can easily be resolved by using a USB C hub with USB type A ports. For use on the go, just buy a few USB C to A connectors. Even though it costs a little more to buy the additional hub and connectors, I am happy with the purchase. Many people don’t like the feel of the “butterfly” keyboard, but after using it, I personally like it. 2017 MacBook Pros are not upgradable (internally) after purchase, so make sure you select an SSD and RAM configuration that will be sufficient for your needs in the long run. I converted from PC and this is my first Mac. Impressed with the quality but not impressed with the price and the lack of upgradability. And lastly, unless you absolutely need the fastest processor in the MacBook line, I’m not sure that the additional cost of the 3.1GHz is worth the upgrade compared to the 2.9GHz.

The MacBook Pro is hands down the best laptop available. Of course the price reflects that, but in most cases you get what you pay for. This is my second MacBook Pro. I had the first one 8 years and it still works like a new one. I gave it to my daughter in law for school and she commented on how fast it is. This new one has far more capability. I love the touchbar and the slim light design. Beautiful display too, and the solid state drive makes it blindingly fast. Apple keeps on showing the world how a computer should be built.

MacBook Pro provides solid performance under OS-X and under Windows 10. Some legacy software at work requires Windows and the BootCamp feature is very useful. The biometric Id is a nice feature for logins. The choice of integrated video or discrete video is a nice feature. This laptop exceeds the Windows Mixed Reality Ultra system. Retina display, USB-C/Lightning/DisplayPort are all available. Price is high but the quality and ability of the hardware is fantastic.

Previously own a 15” MacBook Pro and this one is an excellent upgrade to previous version. The touch bar makes it easy to access the most used shortcuts for each application I use. Fast operation.

I was very happy to be able to purchase the laptop directly from BestBuy. Given that I run multiple OS's on the laptop the 1TB SSD was one of the major factors related to the purchase. Adapting to the keyboard took less time than what I had expected. Ended up purchasing several accessories to get around the engineering compromises that Apple decided to take when designing the MBP without the MagSafe connector as well as the lack of ports besides USB-C. I wish that Apple would come out with a version that can support 32GB of RAM onboard.

The larger track pad is very practical. The laptop is very lightweight and does not get hot.

This version was a little pricey, but it is everything that I was looking for. The battery is incredible, the performance and speed and the load it can handle is also great. The touch bar is cool and this is the best MacBook I've owned to date. Definitely a yes

Great laptop with fast processor and high capacity hard drive

First of all, I took the opportunity of buying this with the Memorial Day deal. It was $400 off the price! Such a great steal. I've been planning on getting on through Apple, but it would've cost me $4/500 more if I went that route. Happy that I waited and went with Best Buy. Love the solid state drive! My sister has a model about 1 year or so older than this one, and the fan still causes quite the bit of heat to come off it. This thing doesn't get hot at all! Not to mention is much thinner since removing the standard Hard Drive. I can also use this on my lap with no issues at all (heat). Highly recommended if you're looking into getting a MacBook. Now is the best time to get into buying one, with the solid state drive alone.

I love my computer. It has beautiful colors. The sound system is very good. It is a lot slimmer than my old MacBook Pro from 2012. It weighs less. It is so much faster too. I am so happy to have my new laptop!

This Laptop looks like a millions bucks. the keyboard feels great, the trackpad at first I thought it was way too big but I've gotten used to it after only a week and the performance is phenomenal. Only negative thing I could say about it is the price but other than that if price is not an issue then I highly recommend getting it!

Amazing hardware USB-C is the future. Other than its one single board inside. Highly recommend the AC+. Well worth it if anything happens. Touch bar is cool but cant see it being more than novel. Hope the hardware is enough to "grow" into as its set now and cannot be upgraded. I personally would buy this for myself again but not recommend it for anyone unless they are 1. making movies for work (get FCP) 2. a propeller head that can work with boot camp & command line.

The Mac Book Pro is an outstanding personal computer offering all of the major features expected including browsing, word processing, etc. with Apple’s ease of use and seamless cross platform integration.

While changing form PC to Mac has had a steep learning curve, I am very glad I now have a Mac. This computer easily does what I need.

If you're looking for a well built and solid workhorse for your professional career then this thing is it! I have used my laptop non-stop for all my work and all the time. The battery is good and lasts as well as the portability. It doesn't weigh a ton for what it has inside which is powerful. I love it.

I am impressed with how fast my new computer works. The new improved slide bar at the top of the keyboard makes it easy to go to the app I'm looking for. The magic mouse I absolutely love. Also the Geek membership for technology support and security.

It has memory, speed, and functions like a well oiled machine! It does not disappoint!
