A: Yes, this can be used just like a regular desktop (with limited features) there are USB ports for a keyboard, mouse and a jack for your speakers. Also a HDMI port for your monitor. For older monitors you will need to purchase a HDMI to VGA adapter. I believe you can purchase it on bestbuy’s website or google it for many more online choices.

A: When you hook it up to a TV you have the audio. If you want more audio Plug your speakers into the head phone jack on your TV. I use the head phones when wife is watching TV.

A: There is a power button on the corner of the box. You will also need a USB powered keyboard, mouse and speakers.

A: No. Chromeboxes and chrome books run off of google and chrome OS. They work really well for searching the internet and basic computing. My kids use them for homework and basic games.
