I bought this AudioQuest DragonTail to use with the DragonFly Red DAC/AMP so that it would be less vulnerable to damage when plugged in to my laptop. I was concerned that if something bumped the DragonFly Red when plugged in it could be easily damaged. It worked very well.

An essential if you use both an Audioquest Jitterbug and Dragonfly DAC on a laptop. This cable allows them to function inline and prevent accidental breakage should you bump them while there plugged into a USB port. Very convenient and economical protection.
