I've been using this laptop for about a month and a half, and its performance has been excellent. Everything runs smoothly, and it handles multiple tasks well, especially for my studies. The 16GB of RAM is working perfectly. The touch screen is also a great feature, and the keyboard is easy to use. I've done some graphic design work on Illustrator, and the laptop handles it well. Battery life is also good. Overall, it's an excellent laptop, and I highly recommend it.

All you need to know. I am a Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence Master’s student, and this laptop is killing it. Speed, memory, battery. 0 complaints. The screen doesn’t get too bright, but that’s a feature, not a bug. The clarity and frame-rate make it suitable for gaming, but maybe go a little bigger if you want to be in the MLG. If you are a coder/software engineer, this has the best bang for your buck.

I have owned many lapops from Macs to low end $200 run of the mill entry level but got the job done type of machines. For me, this was more than I would generally spend at this point in my life. However, it has been worth every penny. Great sound. Great HD for streaming and battery life is wondeful! This laptop has been super reliable and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend it for anyone who is not wanting to spend as much as some laptops can cost. Two big thumbs up from me and I would easily recommend (which I have many times) to friends and would buy again! i added a photo that looks beautiful on mhy screen and also of my writing this review. I am the President of Wizard's Enterprise here in Orlando Florida and this is a phenomenal deal. I have bought three of them this weekend and I'm considering buying a couple more because the performance of these machines is fantastic for business use like Excel, etc. I saw one review where the guy was complaining and gave it one star because it comes in Windows 11 home s mode, but all you have to do is go to settings and click on activation and then click the button to exit s mode and then you're instantly in Windows 11 Home full mode with out having to pay anything. I'm not sure what that guy was thinking. Anyways anyone who doesn't buy this at the price that it is right now is for sure missing out on a unbelievable deal

I needed a laptop for school. I was not sure what I wanted but knew I did not want to spend too much as I just needed it to do basic things. This laptop was a great price and it’s a beautiful, practical, effective laptop. The black is very sleek elegant for me and easy to carry around. The only downside is the fingerprint marks but that’s on any laptop. I forget it’s touchscreen but man that is one awesome feature. I recommend this for anyone that needs an effective laptop for a great price!

smooth, Fast and lightweight, I'm using it to study for college , works perfectly

Bought this laptop to replace a 20 year old Lenovo. My wife is the owner and user of this device and seems to be handling this Dell just fine. She was apprehensive at first trying to learn the Windows 11 but will eventually discover all the latest things she can do with it.

A very sturdy computer. I like the keyboard, which allows me type without any typos. This touchscreen is a great added benefit, allowing me to scroll easily across pages.

It’s light and easy to set up. There are a few features I like that it does not have but it is a touch screen. I got it on a great sale so it is worth the price paid.

I bought this laptop in November 2024 and it worked fine till July 9, 2026 when the hinge which helps to close and open the screen broke off and the plastic surrounding the screen partially came off (see the photo*). Fortunately, the LCD screen still works which means I can still work and do online meetings, but I cannot take it outside in my bag. I already have battery issues which I started noticing on June 13, 2026 and based on a diagnostic battery report which I could generate through command line, the battery is degrading as well. I compared the battery reports of June 2026 and July 2026 and even after applying all the windows updates, there is no improvement in the battery life. Currently, I only have 24 percent of the original capacity (40,466 mWh) left on the battery. The warranty for my laptop expired in January 2026 which means the repairs won't be covered anymore. I also checked with Dell customer support, and they are asking for either a $39 (normal shipping) or $59 (expedited shipping) evaluation fee which includes shipping the laptop to them and then they would send me a quote for repairs which would be extra. I asked around local repair shops, and I got an estimate for 150-500 dollars for repair. I bought this for $560 as a budget laptop because I am not a gamer, but I only used it for email, meetings, academic research, job applications and school. Local shops told me that they won't use original parts to fix it because the warranty has expired so it will be spare parts from other online shopping websites. I was thinking to send this for repair on July 9 but changed my mind considering the battery issues and the hinge issues. Fortunately, the screen still works which means, I can see everything and work using whatever I've. Therefore, I won't be sending this laptop for repairs anymore and I will purchase a better laptop but this time it will be a more durable laptop which doesn't suffer due to wear and tear by closing and opening the screen. Laptop made of metal build will be my choice going forward compared to plastic build. I will also buy a laptop which gives me better battery life and duration. It's not worth repairing the laptop at this point. I also checked online and Dell has stopped manufacturing the Inspiron 15 model which means no spare parts and no hope of getting original Dell parts. I was expecting this laptop to last for few more years, but it gave up sooner than I expected. I will keep using it as long as I can and then throw it away when it's no longer usable. Bottomline- Do not buy Inspiron 15.

This laptop is perfect for me. It's fast and reliable as well as efficient. It was everything I needed to start college.

I’m impressed with all the features it has speed is good. Plenty of storage that’s all I was looking for. Camera is not so clear of a picture, but it is good enough for me now. Overall I am satisfied.
