A: Hi! This gimbal will absolutely work with your Canon r8, the only thing you will have to look out for is the amount of weight your lenses are adding on. If your weight exceeds the limit, your gimbal will be at risk for motor exhaustion and short battery life! I will recommend the gimbal itself without the combo, I hardly ever use the accessories it comes with because it’s not necessary for my shots. I hope this was helpful!
