(Echo) - Witness - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

We found ourselves powerless in front of the events, we are not active in our future, just witnesses of it. We decide to make due with the time we got in the more productive way possible, the songs and lyrics are barely drafts, we can see each other very briefly, almost in secret, almost scared to spend time together, but quite surprisingly the material is good. Some songs arrive in the studio without having been tested in the rehearsal room, but they work, and with all the S**t that happened from February 2022, a new tag decides to believe in us and the album. 7 songs, 7 lyrics, that in various forms have been our soundtrack for the past 2 years, through one of the darkest times we've ever faced, that we didn't expect at all. We are thankful to each other for the strength and the ability to support each other through the process of creating this record, that we are super proud of. This album is a collection of images and thoughts, sometimes more explicit, sometimes more ambiguous. For me express myself publicly saying something meaningful is becoming harder and harder, you probably won't hear anything serious coming from my mouth from now on, the few things I believe in are vague and confused, and I don't think it's worth to bring them up in everyday conversations. Sometimes I can channel some thoughts that my bandmates tell me are worth sharing with others, outside of our inner circle, and I'm super grateful to them for this. Being part of this band, being able to publish this album with my brothers is an honor, but also a responsibility, for how vane it may look from outside, but this makes me feel a little less out of place the usual in this reality.
