I don’t listen to the radio, so when installing my stereo, I did not care for getting an antenna adapter. That is, until I went to a drive in movie theater. There I was inside a drive in, having already paid the entrance fee, with no radio. I left and next day went to Best Buy to pick up this adapter. It was installed in 15 minutes. Most of that time involved wrenching the 4 bolts required to remove the stereo. The rest was plug and play… and tuck away! It works perfectly!

The result has been clear and crisp radio reception, allowing me to enjoy my music and stay informed without any interference. Bought it for a 2015 Camry perfect fit. Easy to install and works like it should.

Used the Metra 40-LX11 antenna adapter to connect my new Pioneer DMH-W3050NEX to the factory antenna in my 2014 Prius. Installation was quick—just plug and go—no signal loss or static issues. The connection is secure, and FM/AM reception is as clear as it was with the OEM radio. It’s one of those inexpensive but essential pieces you don’t want to skip when upgrading your stereo. Tip: Check your vehicle’s year and model to confirm fit before buying. For my setup, I used this adapter along with the Metra 95-8226B dash kit and the Maestro ADS-MRR steering wheel interface for a complete upgrade. Bottom line: Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, with zero hassle.

Exactly what I needed for my 2017 4runner SR5 installation.

Enabled me to connect the factory installed FM antenna in my truck to my new stereo. Was super easy to install, just plug and play.

I bought the Pioneer Car Play DMH-2660NEX and the accessories are needed. This was also suggested by the Best Buy support person before i made the appointment. Installation was free with the Pioneer car play. The installation service and the person was a knowledgeable and very professional. I will always suggest eveoto goto Best Buy.

The antenna adapter works great on my '18 Tundra. I replaced the head-unit with a Pioneer and this was simply plug and play.

This adapter allows you to connect your new receiver/radio to the existing antennae in the car. It works as expected.
