Overall, I like this piece. It is the same fit as the OEM stereo. I am not sure if it was the installer or not but the pieces are not flush back into place. The clips on the side I can pry off and the climate control knobs are no flush with the dash kit.

Radio has less reception than the original

The radio/cd player works fine for cds, but I have trouble with reception of radio stations, particularly public radio, which I listen to mostly.

The Geeks suggested I get this, because after all it does say... “upgrade your 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy/Outback vehicle's sound system with this kit that allows for easy installation of an aftermarket radio.” Apparently this isn’t the case

Im not sure after getting to the shop for install-the guys said they couldn’t install it; so I can’t say if it’s good or bad to be honest.
