This motherboard has most of the features you want except extra 40gb usbc ports on the rear panel. If thats important to you look at the x870e boards. It has one 40 and one 20gbps usb c ports though. It also has a 5 gb ethernet port but wont be of value if your switch can onky handle 1gbps. Everything else is pretty standard. Requires two cpu 8 pin power to the motherboard so check your power supply if your videocard requires 3 pcie connectors as well. It has a strange extra pcie connector on the board to give extra power to the video card i think it said in the documentation. Other then that, its a pretty straight forward install. This mobo was tested with 8000mt but im sticking with 6400 cl32 for now as i think it gives the best bang for the buck. Im using this with a 9950x as well as a 9800x3d which is coming tomorrow.

Great motherboard durable so far just fired it up yesterday. Easy to install and for most part lay out is perfect. The board is powerful and rich to pair with new CPU. The pricing justifies the product itself as well

Buying this for Boy frir\end birthday gift. He wanted to build a new gaming desktop. He used an Intel system before but lately decided to switch to AMD. since AMD 9000 CPU is available now, I bought him the X870 board. This is considered a budget build nothing fancy but it has all the feature needed also the new silver HeatSink. very happy with it.

More than enough for my needs, looks good, lots of ports, huge heatsinks may interfere with certain builds. Not one problem at first startup.

With 7700x and 7800xt card, works beautiful. Getting upgrade as stated in title so we shall see. I think its great

It works with AMD Ryzen 9800x3d really well. Easy install and good quality. MSI with love.

Broken on arrival. Even after updating bios and doing everything I could online. Boots into black screen. Closer inspection some plugs had horribly bent pins. Don't even know if it's caused damage to my other devices at this point. Returning and trying another brand. Stay far away from this motherboard.

Works great! Outside of not having a spdif i/o I have no complaints.

on its way back to MSI bad board wouldn't boot or update bios.
