About this product
Twelve inch vinyl pressing of this 2013 single. Mike Paradinas's µ-Ziq solo project has been quiet for a while. However, with 'XTEP', he makes a welcome return from hiatus, delivering a gentle taster for the 2013 µ-Ziq album due this summer. In stark contrast to a large percentage of his previous work, XTEP is joyous all the way through. These five compositions abandon the furrow-browed quest for cutting-edge exploration, exchanging it for an altogether more carefree and fun approach, with only the footwork-influenced 'Monj2' directly referencing any current electronic influences. Album Tracks 1. XT 2. Ritm 3. Pulsar 4. Monj2 5. New Bimple

Back digging in their prized vaults, Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory tag cherry picks another two classics to be released for the first time on vinyl. Up first, one of Toronto's finest Demuir enlists the signature soulfulness of Bluey Robinson for a bumping RnB-tinged, hazy house bomb entitled 'Lusting U'. On the flip, Chicago legend DJ Sneak hits with a underground jackin' groover 'Judy Russell' in trademark Windy City style.Tracklisting A1. Demuir feat. Bluey Robinson - Lusting UB1. Flug returns to DCLTD, with a follow up to last year's propulsive 'Altered Existence' EP. 'Altered Existence II' picks up where it's predecessor left off and is a visceral dancefloor exercise. 'Rationalize' is throbbing and trippy, a delicious deep dive into techno's nether regions. 'Fake Tales' is a punchy tool, fit for warm up purpose. 'Muted Minds' will break the game wide open; an eerie shuffling beast that every DJ needs up their sleeve.Tracklisting A1. RationalizeB1. Fake TalesB2. Muted Minds
