I played the original NG Black and it was definitely a step up from the original. With that in mind, I went in expecting to see a type of leap going from NG 2 to NG 2 Black but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Yes there is some changes but they don't stand out like in the original. NG2 Black is a little more forgiving but in terms of difficulty compared to the original but in terms of content its a little bare bones. If you haven't played NG 2 in a long time or never this is a good entry if your a series regular then you might be better off playing the vanilla version on Xbox

This new Ninja Gaiden game is awesome. I've been a fan of Ninja Gaiden games, since it appeared on Nintendo.
