Q: What is the height of the arm rests? Is the attachment of them optional?
A: When the chair is at its lowest setting, the top surfaces of the armrests are approximately 25" from the floor. At the highest setting, approximately 28" from the floor. Their height is not adjustable, but they can be rotated upward and backward so they are parallel with the back of the chair and out of the way. I need this feature so I can rest a guitar on my lap during recording sessions, then I rotate them forward when I'm writing so I can rest my elbows.
