The Quest Pro controllers are a great all around upgrade from the original Quest 2 controllers. The tracking is incredible. The haptics have been upgraded and overall feel much nicer than before. They feel super comfortable to hold. The pairing process was easy and didn't take much time. So far, so good. There are, however. two notable issues at the moment. First, the price is rather high. This is basically a pair of smartphones being flung around, so I understand why, doesn't make it hurt any less though. Second, the controllers are prone to overheating. After only 10-15 minutes of Beat Saber, the controllers will send overheating notifications. This might not be an issue for you, I've only ever gotten the notification when playing Expert+ songs in Beat Saber specifically. Every other game has run just fine. However, if you're like me and are eyeing these specifically for cutting some cubes, I'd wait until this issue is solved. Overall solid, just not for me due to my VR time being 95% Beat Saber and 5% everything else.

the Quest Pro controllers are straight-up top tier. They’re super precise with built-in tracking, so you don’t need to rely on the headset’s cameras, meaning smoother movement and way better accuracy. The haptics feel clean and responsive, giving you that real sense of touch in games. Plus, they’re comfortable to hold, have great battery life, and even work with Quest 2 if you want to upgrade. Whether you’re gaming, designing, or just chilling in VR, they make everything feel next level.

The opportunity to use the Meta Quest Touch Pro Controllers, and overall, my experience has been a mix of impressive performance and some frustrating limitations. Accuracy and Performance (Rating: 8/10) One of the standout features of these controllers is their spatial accuracy. The responsiveness to movement and precise placement in three-dimensional space is remarkable. The built-in computing power and cameras in the controllers allow for seamless interaction, whether I'm drawing, sculpting, or playing games that require reaching behind the headset. Unlike other controllers, these maintain their position without losing tracking, which is a significant advantage in immersive experiences. Support and Connectivity Issues (Rating: 4/10) However, my experience with Meta's support has been less than satisfactory. Connecting the controllers to the headset can be a lengthy process, which is frustrating. Additionally, switching between different input devices—whether it's the Touch Pro Controllers, a stylus, or standard controllers—requires a phone. This reliance on a separate device to manage Meta’s own products feels counterintuitive, especially since it complicates the user experience. It’s disappointing that you can’t easily switch between controllers without needing a phone, which feels unnecessary for a system designed to work seamlessly together. Overall Experience (Rating: 6/10) In summary, while the Quest Touch Pro Controllers offer a significant upgrade in input and accuracy, the cumbersome connectivity issues and reliance on external devices detract from the overall experience. For casual users, I would recommend sticking with the standard setup that comes with the headset. However, for those who are looking for enhanced input and precision—especially in competitive scenarios—these controllers may provide a vital edge in gameplay. While I appreciate the advanced capabilities of the Touch Pro Controllers, the frustrations with connectivity and support lead me to give them a 6 out of 10. If Meta can streamline the connection process and improve support, these controllers could easily become a must-have accessory for any serious VR enthusiast.

The controllers are EXCELENT! I use them daily the battery life on the controllers last the whole day. They charger pretty quickly aswell. And i really enjoy the 360 degree tracking you can put the cpntroller away from the headset towards your back and it will still track. I highly recommened 10/10.

Ok the controllers are pretty good. Great tracking and haptics. BUT there are a lot of issues. After playing with them for about 20-30 mins, they overheat and shut down for 1/2 an hour. And also the price. You can get a decent phone for that. Also, the tracking just decides to stop working for a few seconds at a time. If you have the money, buy 2 of them to combat overheating Charger also kinda sucks

To me their a lot more durable, tracks great, but their expensive. Had my Q3 for maybe 2 moths and one of the controllers quick working.

great if you need more tracking, like behind the back and wide range movement.

Big improvement over Quest 2 - see-through visual simulation is amazing. Controller response is great too. I also have Pro controllers, and the stock ones are pretty close. But that's the missing star for me. At $500, they should have included the Pro controllers and made it perfect.

These controllers work well with my Oculus 2. Smooth and no controller drift. Little weird to get used too.

They good controllers the only problem really is that if you hit them together they disconnect

I was shocked and dismayed at the very prohibitive cost of the product but couldn't find alternate replacements. These controllers have never worked properly and the trigger has now fallen off. Spent hours re-calibrating and searching online for advice on how to make them work properly. They haven't been accidentally thrown or dropped and have been taken care of properly. Evidently Best Buy is aware of this so only offer 30 days to return. I will never purchase this item again. I'll buy a new unit for $100 more than I paid for these for replacements in the future. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE!!

The TouchPro are amazing controllers and set the bar as the next-gen Gold Standard. Premium build quality and flawless, next gen tracking - better tracking than my old Rift CV1 3 sensor setup. I only used the controllers with v50, which is noted to include many TouchPro improvements. While I originally bought these controllers to pair with my Quest2, I was so impressed that I opted for the QuestPro once the pricedrop was announced; so I returned these and upgraded to the full kit (yes it's worth it). Features - premium build quality, 3 haptic motors (base, grip, trigger), independent inside out tracking, 8 hrs battery life, able to recharge quickly with the included 45W fast charger, thumb rest area doubles as both a pressure button and a touch pad, added stylus is neat but I don't use it. But just the controllers alone, they're amazing ! and give a sneak peek into the high-fidelity products Meta is able to put out.

I got it for a Quest 3, and while they work fine, the improvement over the regular Q3 controllers is not enough to justify $300. They do have better tracking since they use cameras and feel a bit higher quality, but the Q3 controllers are lighter and not much worse in tracking.

These controllers are better then the standard quest 2 controllers in every way! The tracking is completely upgraded and consistent even behind your back with the cameras now on the controller. The vibration haptics remind me of the joycons like on the switch how it reacts to certain objects and motions in game. Overall the controllers are easy enough to pair and if you are a VR enthusiast then these are a much needed upgrade for your quest 2 without needing to buy the new $1500 headset. The only downside is definitely the price with it being $300 it’s hard to give it a 5 star with it being the price almost as a quest 2. If it was a little cheaper I’d recommend to more casual VR users. All in all, if you got the money buy it!

I have big hands and these feel great to hold. I bought these due to their selftracking which works wonders when paired with a quest 3 and its visual quality. The tracking is responsive and accurate which means its input lag is hard to notice and is great for games like beatsaber which need that fast accurate tracking. Since the controllers self track you dont need to worry about wether the quest can see them since it will just know where they are at all times so you can even put the controllers behind your back. The straps are not too course on the skin nor does it stick to hair around the wrist so its bairly noticeable unless you tighten them too much which is great for longer sessions. The grips are also nice with textured surfaces so they dont slip out of your hand

These are great controllers, with excellent tracking. The haptics is noticeably better. Are they worth twice the price of the standard controllers? No. Only get these if u are in a pinch and have the cash to spend. You wont be dissapointed, but u will understand this review.
