Please be informed that yes this item has CA Prop 65, however, we would like to inform you that the stain applied on the item while the manufacturing process contains formaldehyde or lead content. In the manufacturing of this item, we made sure that this item does follow Stats of California guidelines, and will not expose you to any chemicals, and therefore safe to use. Please be informed that the reason why it will not expose you to chemicals is the quantity of the lead content in the stain used. As per the State of California guidelines the lead content cannot exceed 90 ppm (0.009% by weight), what we make sure to follow while manufacturing the item.
