Great dive for back-up storage. Have used this drive several times for back-up and it performs well.

Using the WD - My Passport for Mac 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive for backing up multiple MacBooks. Works great, fast and reliable and small enough to take with you. Great for storing tons of music, photos and videos as well.

I use this to backup via time machine two macs i own - each with a 500 GB internal drive. I partitioned this drive into 1 TB partitions and then run time machine for each Mac i own - very easy to partition nd no problems thus far

This thing works great for what I need it for. Plug it into my computer and use it. No downloading stuff. Looks good and plenty of memory.

If you have a computer you need to get a Passport to back everything from your computer. My life is on my computer so backing up my life on a Passport is a must. You need a Passport also.

This compact drive is easy to setup and use on a regular basis either as automatic backups or as desired. Great customer support is available if there are installation or operation questions. Drive is silent and works in the background. Great value for large amount of backup storage.

Have been making videos which take a huge amount of space. Bought this external hard drive and couldn't be happier. It is small, portable, fast and a great price. Highly recommend.

This is a very compact drive with a huge amount of storage capacity. Backups are quick and automatic. I’ve used it for 3 months without a problem. The set up instructions were a bit hard to understand and I had to call customer support which provided the help I needed. Better instructions would have earned the 5th star

I had difficulty getting it to unmount after the first time use. Had to restart my computer and then it dismounted just fine. Since then I’ve had zero issues and it’s worked perfectly.

I was pleased with the plug & play ease of the external hard drive for my MacBook. I was able to back up my old Mac & store tons of files from another external hard drive as well.

This drive is a great backup tool for my Landscape Photography work. It was easy to reformat and partition. I got a Case Logic semi hardshell case for it that fits perfectly.

This hard drive is easy to use and takes up a very small area which was one of my requirements. I have been very happy with this purchase. The only thing that could be annoying is the prompting to update the software happens pretty frequently though I think you can use it without the software.

I've had a smaller WD external HD for a few years. Never had any issues. Wanted to go to a larger storage size, and am using my 1TB for storage. So far, no problems.

This sets up with the Mac as a backup so easy and works fantastic. It is a must for backup and files a set it a forget it. It runs no problems and quiet.

This was simple to plug in and get going immediately to back up my MacBook Pro. Set it up with Time Machine and good to go. I like the small size too.

This external hard drive is amazing, super fast and issue free. Also it does not have to be re-formatted for MACS's so that is a huge plus!
