32" Insignia TV
||Posted .Purchased a 32" open box TV that was very easy to set up. It surpassed my expectations. Picture and sound are great. I'm pleased that the TV is also Ruku ready (has a USB port for streaming videos, etc) Price was reasonable, too!

So far, so good.
||Posted .Great TV for the cost. Clean, clear picture and sound. A couple of decent features. It's only been a month, but I'm happy with the purchase so far.

Does Exactly What It Should
||Posted .Got this TV for the kid's playroom at my parents' house as a surprise Christmas gift for them. It was replacing an old, massive CRT TV, that was connected to an old DVD player via composite video connection and RCA red / white audio connectors. That's one of the things I liked most about this TV -- it's got a nice variety of different types of connectors. After I got the old TV out of the way (amazing how much smaller TVs are these days, for the same screen size!), I easily connected both the old DVD player and a new Apple TV to this TV. Picture quality is exactly what is needed for a back bedroom / playroom TV (I have a hard time seeing the difference between 720p and 1080p, and my kids certainly don't care.) I own the 24" size of this brand in my own home for the kid playroom, and I would certainly consider this brand again for a similar need.

Great price, great TV
||Posted .I just got this TV Wednesday evening... today is Friday... so far so good. The picture is beautiful, the sound is fine (although my son says I should get surround sound... which would cost as much or more than this TV). The ease of setup was astonishing. I was so proud of myself. Oh, and the TV was so lightweight. I had a 6-yr-old plasma 32" TV that weighed a ton, this is lightweight... a huge plus. I bought the 5-yr-extended warranty for $39.99. I had researched the internet at great length and found that Insignia is made by a Chinese company, Xoceco, but uses component parts from Samsung, LG and other more costly brands. This is Best Buy's in-house brand. I think I am going to be quite happy with this new addition.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .I needed to replace an old analog TV, but did not want to spend a lot of money. This TV fit the bill. However, when I tried to attach the stand, the screw holes in the TV and stand did not align, no matter how much I tried. I ended up being able to use only two of the four screws, so the TV is a bit wobbly. My other issue is the aspect ratio. With my cable service, I cannot get the picture to precisely align with the screen. I have tried all of the aspect settings, and either the picture is much smaller than the screen size or some of the picture is cut off. The zoom setting seems to work best in general. With respect to the TV itself, the picture and sound are clear. I would recommend the TV to a friend, with reservations.

Great basic HDTV
||Posted .We have bought two of these for our kids rooms. For $179 you can't beat it. Its a great basic HDTV. at 32" being only 720p isn't an issue. The picture quality is great. Paired with a blu-ray player with wi-fi our kids don't need to be hooked up to cable or satellite. Netflix looks great on this TV.

Good product for the price point
||Posted .Nice TV for <$200. Set-up was quick and easy. Not a lot of customization options, but that's reasonable for a sub-$200 television. We're impressed with how lightweight it is. All we wanted was a single HDMI connection, so the included HDMI/USB connections more than sufficient for our needs. Not thrilled with the power supply...giant brick that gets very hot every time the TV is on. But all in all, we're satisfied with this TV and feel like we got a good value for our $178. This is a bedroom TV and used solely for a little falling-asleep watching, not even every night--so it doesn't need to be fantastic...which it isn't. ;-) But good enough is good enough in this case.

Great !
||Posted .Was worried about purchasing a tv by best buy and not something more popular like samsung or LG but it's been 3 weeks and I love this tv I haven't had any issues Nd picture is just as great as samsung but cheaper ! It's for the bedroom and I know I want to go big for the living room so I'm happy to say I'll go directly for this product since it provides the same as other products but better price now keep in mind I'm not an over the top person when it comes to HD I have regular (coaxial) cable cords... Hope I spelled that right lol....

Q: Questioncan this also be used as a computer monitor?I wanted to use this as a computer monitor and TV - does it have that capability? I saw an input for PC on the back. Is it as simple as plugging it in and using it that way?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You sure can. We have it in our conference room and use it for online meetings. If you connect via HDMI cable, it will carry the audio and video. If you use a VGA, you'll need to hook up speakers to the computer.

Q: QuestionScreen size measurementI am looking to buy this 32 inch TV. My question is how big is the screen? It says that the screen is measured diagonally at 31.5 inches. Does this mean from outside the actual TV or is it from the inside area where the actual screen is?
Asked by Karen Bad.
- A:Answer 31.5 is the screen. This tv is 19.4" tall 29.1" wide and 3.2" deep (the base makes it 6.3" deep)

Q: QuestionCan this TV run Netflix and YouTube? Can this TV run Netflix and/or YouTube directly without connecting to a PC? Thanks.
Asked by Nmoleo64.
- A:Answer It's not a "smart tv" if that's what you're really asking. It is "roku ready", meaning you can use the roku stick for streaming services. I have a PS3 hooked up to my tv, so I use Crackle, Netflix and Youtube through that when I want to view them on the tv.
