    My Samsung Smart TV 55" bought in Best Buy in 2012 couldn't be turned on. Geek Squad came to verify what was the problem and told me that no way to fix it because too old TV!!?? I bought a new TV for $900.00 in Best Buy. I was so sorry to place the old one in damper so I took another repair company and they fixed it for $240.00 (labor included)!!! No more Geek Squad!!

    Bought 5 yr plan. Effective 2016. TV needed repair February 2018 with the main board replaced. No problem. Well, the same main board was replaced June 5 now I am being told I have reached the plan’s maximum benefit and plan is cancelled. I don’t know, Something is not right here. The replacement board only lasted 4 months.

    Geek Squad Protection is the best I ever had. They will take care of your concerns right away especially the Tech guy who check my TV, he is very knowledgeable and very professional his name De Jaun. They send the tech guy in just two days and will receive the replacement in 3 days what a service...Good job Geek Squad....

    Honestly not a big fan of “warranties” or as Best Buy calls it “geek squad protection” but in their case, they are the exception to the rule. I have never had a single issue with a product needing repair when I purchased their protection plan. They are pretty much the only company, who offers them instore, I can say that about. Kudos Best Buy!!!
