Absolute Classic, Must Own
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of my favorite albums of all-time! Absolute classic! One of my favorite things about Queen was always their diversity which is on full display on this release. Seamlessly transitioning from hard rock, "Death on Two Legs," to beautiful ballads, "Love of My Life," to folk-style, "'39," to epics like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Prophet Song." Besides, they always have the quirky tracks like "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" and "Good Company" which only add another element while continuing the great songwriting apparent throughout. All the performances are stellar! I can't say enough good things about this album!!! As for the remaster, it seems fine to me, however, I am not absolutely picky with remasters in general and previously was only familiar with the early 90s remaster and thought that version sounded great. However, the DVD 5.1 version does sound really good! Cool digi packaging also which I always prefer over the jewel cases.
