Assassin's Creed III - Nintendo Wii U

This game truly demonstrates that the major platforming titles that have been so acclaimed on other consoles can hold their own on the WiiU. The game looks and sounds as outstanding as it is on any other gaming system. The gameplay is smooth--the WiiU has no problem handling it, even in action-rich sequences. The actual campaign itself is exactly as it is on other consoles, including all the side missions and bonus content. It really shows that Nintendo can make Assassin's Creed happen on their hardware. As for the game itself, it's got a great story that's challenging and long enough to entertain for many hours. Lots of different side missions to complete (some much more interesting than others), so there's certainly plenty to do throughout the campaign. There's enough of the classic AC gameplay that made the title great and enough new elements (naval battles, hunting, etc) to make fresh and new as well. The storyline with the revolution is interesting and creative--if you're a history buff, you can get into that part of it about as much as you want. Altogether, tremendously entertaining. Only possible problem (and this isn't really with the game) the WiiU online experience isn't nearly what it is with other consoles, at least not with this game. Many more participants are needed if Wii hopes to catch up in this area. Other than that, this is one of the best games I've played on the WiiU and is true to the Assassin's Creed name.

Why can't all games be like this. Even for kids games. Story is interesting throughout. Graphics a perfect. Game control is A + . even on the so call worthless Wii u pad controller. I recommend.

I've enjoyed all of the Assassin's Creed games, and this one is no different. Assassin's Creed III has a great single-player storyline, which is what I look forward to most in a game. The additional downloadable content is worthwhile, and there is a decent multiplayer component as well. The draw distance on the Wii U version is a little short, but it's not too distracting. The game still looks good, although it won't be winning any awards. Overall, this is a game I would recommend if you enjoy a good single-player adventure.

I had played the game on the ps3 when it first came out and had sold it. It was on sale for the Wii U so figured i'd check it out. The Wii U plays the game fine, the game pad works well with it.

Bought it on clearance - my sons thought it was OK, especially for the price. Wouldn't have bought it at full price, nor did my sons think it was worth full price.

This game is very entertaining and action packed . It is not really intended for kids under 15 years of age as it is somewhat graphic and violent.

The world map is huge and if you haven't played these games it can take a bit to get the controls down.

I am sure that I am no different when I say that kids want to play, all day, every day. This game is no exception I my sons eyes. He loves it. It is a minimum of a pg-13.
