- Answer This laptop does not come with W7 Professional, however, you can install it if you wish. The optical drive will also read and write CDR & RW. This laptop only comes with a 6-cell battery but the hybrid engine software will allow you to prolong battery life by adjusting the power usage settings. 4 USB ports total: two USB 2.0 & two USB 3.0
