Can a My Best Buy Plus™ membership be returned?
A My Best Buy Plus™ membership cannot be returned, but it can be cancelled. You can cancel your membership by calling 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) or by managing your subscriptions on your BestBuy.com account. Depending on when you cancel your membership, you may be entitled to a refund as follows:
- If you cancel within the first 60 days of the initial purchase, or any renewal term, you will be entitled to receive a refund for the full value of the amount paid for your yearly membership minus the value of any membership discounts or benefits already provided during the then-current term.
- If you cancel after the first 60 days, you will be entitled to receive a prorated refund based on the number of days remaining in the billing year beyond the cancellation date and minus the value of any membership discounts or benefits already provided during the then-current term.

A My Best Buy Total™ membership cannot be returned, but it can be cancelled. You can cancel your membership by calling 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) or by managing your subscriptions on your BestBuy.com account. Depending on when you cancel your membership, you may be entitled to a refund as follows:

Can I purchase a My Best Buy Total™ membership on BestBuy.com?
Does the product protection that comes with a My Best Buy Total™ membership apply to products I give as gifts?
Yes. The product protection that comes with your My Best Buy Total™ membership still applies to eligible products you give as gifts. Here's how it works:
- When you make a purchase that’s covered by the protection plan with your membership, you’ll receive an email confirming your protection plan coverage. Give a copy of this email to your gift recipient. They will need this email to show that their product is covered.
- The protection plan will remain in your name. You may still receive information about the plan — such as the gift recipient’s claim activity and notices about the plan.
- The protection plan will continue for up to 24 months, as long as your membership remains active. If you cancel or choose not to renew your membership, this will cancel any remaining months on the protection plan.
- Eligible claims outside of the manufacturer's warranty are limited to 2 claims per 12-month period, each subject to a service fee.
