Bosch - Axxis 2.2 Cu. Ft. 15-Cycle High-Efficiency Compact Front-Loading Washer - White

This is my second set of Bosch washer and dryer, last one lasted 10 years with minimal service, however when it needed service parts always were needed to be ordered, which meant 7-10 days of no washer.

It's interesting that this machine is designed for a smaller space such as a condominium, yet the spin cycle sounds like a jet engine, sending every dog on my floor into a barking frenzy. Best Buy is kindly arranging an exchange as I expect quiet from a machine in this price range.

Had this for about a year and very pleased overall. As another reviewer mentioned, the spin cycle emits a high-pitched whine; but with our closet door closed its not really loud. Try finding a washer that doesn't make noise during spin cycle. The quality is great, simple knobs and no electronic panels. Our old washer had an electronic display and once it goes you might as well buy a new washer. It has a pleasant alarm you can set when the cycle completes. The only other note I would make here is that I do wipe down the inside of the rubber gasket inside the washer after every cycle to prevent mold. Have read other reviews saying if you don't do this in humid climates the rubber will get moldy. I have had no problems doing this 5 second procedure and the washer still looks and smells great. Overall highly recommend Bosch.

Washing machine had a burned out motor right out of the box. Very poor quality. Bosch refused to replace. They suggested a repair. But for $1000 I wanted a new unit, not a refurbished one. Very poor customer care from Bosch.

Using it for a month now, every day. Working great, no issues at all. The only suprise was that you are warned not to add chlorine bleach. Not a problem for me as I use a detergent with bleach. Clothes come out clean. Also bought the dryer, works great as well.
