Ive always been a buffy fan so buying the dvd series is a must. I have nothing bad to say except i dislike that you have to go back and press play on each episode.

There have been good series and great series, but Buffy will always be legendary

Buffy is a strong female character. She's a courageous role model for young girls, despite the fact that she's "watched" by a man and that Joss Whedon later makes her lose weight. The series takes place after the Kristy Swanson movie - although a great movie, you definitely don't have to watch it to enjoy the series. It's so cute to see the cast so young. This season has more stand alone episodes, dealing with a She-Mantis, a demonic Internet stalker, and demonic hyenas. Buffy's big bad of the season is The Master. And since this is the first season, the action is a little weak (only in comparison to the upcoming seasons). Sarah Michelle Gellar spent a lot of time training for Buffy, which is evident by season two. However, Willow's acting never improves.
