Favorite movie made even better!
This is an outstanding version of THE THING. The colors are like never seen before, blacks are truely black and whites are so bright, ice is beautiful blues and hues therefore. Detailed items I have visually missed before and sonically missed. This rendition is of greater quality than the original theatre quality or any I have ever seen before. I have seen this movie somewhere between 25-30 times

Def worth upgrading to 4k
This is one of the best 4k transfers I have seen. Your gonna notice things you didnt before. HDR is on point too. They easily took 15 years off the indoor scenes alone. Outdoor shots are still a bit grainy but are improved as well. So glad I own this on 4k.

One of my most favorite movies got a 4k upgrade. The animatronics and puppetry come to life.

Old-school mechanic Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green) didn't have much use for our increasingly automated world. However, after a brutal gang assault left his wife dead and him a quadriplegic, he agreed to let an entrepreneur (Harrison Gilbertson) bond an experimental AI with his nervous system. Now mobile-and superhumanly enhanced-Trace goes on a hunt for the killers, but the trail may provide a few stunning twists. Distinctive fantasy-thriller co-stars Betty Gabriel, Richard Cawthorne. 100 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.
