A: The Canon EF/EF-S to R Adapter allows you to use any Canon EF/EF-S lenses with the Canon EOS R or RP mirrorless camera bodies. The adapter is not compatible with other Canon bodies such as the Canon EOS 70D. The Canon teleconverters can be used with the adapter and certain Canon EF lenses to attach to the R and RP bodies.
A: It does allow autofocus. I tried it and it works with both the eye autofocus and regular autofocus.
A: So the new RF lens have a control ring on them. You can use this control ring to change your ISO, aperture etc quickly without going into your settings. The $199 adapter has this control ring on it so your EF lens have the same feature as the RF. Hope this helps.
