Walkie talkie set of 3
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. They work great in the store where several walkers and phones wouldn’t. However The volume is very low. We are always asking to repeat so we can put it up to our ear and hear what the page is for.

Better as a toy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I bought these expecting to be able to communicate with my child while they walk between friends homes in the neighborhood. That is about as good as it will be. He will walk 2 blocked away and the connection is barely audible. Out if curiosity I took them for a drive 1.5 miles away... nothing. There are no big buildings interfering with transmittions and we had nothing. Do not buy these for more than play.

Posted .The communication range quoted is calculated under optimum conditions, with an unobstructed line of sight. Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to, terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.

Range Over Estimated
||Posted .Purchased these 2way radios for all vehicles in a 3 vehicle caravan during a cross country trip. Even in flat desert areas, range never made it to estimates. Otherwise, clear and a tremendous asset while within sight of each other, and by in sight, I’m not speaking horizon line of sight but no more than 10 to 15 car lengths.

Fantastic set of walkies!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. It's very well-priced for the features you get with this 3-pack. My wife and I had to drive across the country together, but in separate vehicles, and we used this to keep easy communication open between us. It worked really well, though definitely not the 2-mile city range that it says in the product's information. I'd say it reached about a quarter mile on highways with other vehicles and whatnot between us.

Two way communication device
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. We purchased a cobra two-way radio communication device during the coronavirus crisis. We was looking for some type of walkie-talkie or two-way communication that we may be able to use doing this pandemic. We found them to be very useful. I was even able to use them while we was out hunting, and while traveling. I could recommend this to a communication device for anyone that may be going to any crisis or traveling .

Good radios
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Radios are descent. Used them every day for 6 weeks on a job site. Especially like the privacy channels. Signal range was okay. Used them in a 6-story, solid concrete building. Signal was good up to 4 floors. Signal was sporadic at the 5th and 6th floor. Radios worked well for what I needed them for. Will use them on my next job.

Excellent communication
||Posted .We used this 3piece set when we were cruising on board Carnival Legend in Alaska. The walkie talkies were practical, handy, reliable, and powerful enough to get our group connected wherever we were in the ship or even out in the ports for the excursions.
