A: Seems to work fine in my PS5. It fit perfectly in the slot and the system saw it without any issues. I suspect like many gen4 SSDs Sony just wants you to buy from them or their official partners so they can make a profit. This SSD may not be tested, but it seems to run at full speed and hasn't caused and problems for me in the past few weeks
