Will this work for ps5? null

Seems to work fine in my PS5. It fit perfectly in the slot and the system saw it without any issues. I suspect like many gen4 SSDs Sony just wants you to buy from them or their official partners so they can make a profit. This SSD may not be tested, but it seems to run at full speed and hasn't caused and problems for me in the past few weeks

It would probably work for PS5 but there are faster drives available. The drives I have seen that I know are compatible with PS5 have Read/Write speeds about double of this 4 TB drive. Their price is also about double what this drive costs. Check manufacturer website. They are good at addressing compatibility questions.
