    • Answer Seems to work fine in my PS5. It fit perfectly in the slot and the system saw it without any issues. I suspect like many gen4 SSDs Sony just wants you to buy from them or their official partners so they can make a profit. This SSD may not be tested, but it seems to run at full speed and hasn't caused and problems for me in the past few weeks

    • Answer Hello, thanks for getting in touch, We would like to inform you that Sequential Write speeds for this SSD is up to 4,100 MB/s. But please note that, The Crucial P3 utilizes an SLC-mode cache designed for quick write operations and optimal short burst performance. However, when this cache is full, the drive switches to writing directly to the QLC NAND, which operates at a slower pace. Hence, if you transfer large data files continuously you find a drop in the write speeds. Considering frequent large file transfers, a drive with a TLC NAND, such as our Crucial T500, may be more suitable. These models are equipped to handle sustained caching demands more efficiently, ensuring consistent performance.     • Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us, The P3 Plus SSD do not have a thermal pad. The sticker has thermal properties built into it to simply add the heatsink over the top of the sticker. Make sure that your desktop or laptop doesn't live near a heat vent or by a window that exposes it to direct sunlight. You should also remove any obstacles that restrict airflow, leaving two to three inches of space on all sides of your computer's vents.
