Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us, The P3 Plus SSD do not have a thermal pad. The sticker has thermal properties built into it to simply add the heatsink over the top of the sticker. Make sure that your desktop or laptop doesn't live near a heat vent or by a window that exposes it to direct sunlight. You should also remove any obstacles that restrict airflow, leaving two to three inches of space on all sides of your computer's vents.
