The Culligan® WH-HD200-C Heavy-Duty Sediment Filter allows you to preserve and protect your household plumbing and water-using appliances. Designed for installations where a 1-inch water main is present at the point of entry, this filter housing features stainless steel reinforced inlet/outlet and cap for added durability. A filter life indicator is built into the filter head which alerts you when you need to change your filter cartridge . The large filter size provides 4 times the capacity where high sediment concentration is an issue. Because water quality varies among locations, the WH-HD200-C is sold without a filter cartridge. The unit comes with a 2-year limited warranty. The WH-HD200-C housing uses filter cartridges CW5-BBS, CW25-BBS, CP5-BBS, P25-BBS, R50-BBSA, and RFC-BBSA. Filter cartridge sold seperately.

A: This filter housing can be installed on it's own. In my case, we have a well. I have this as a whole house filter, followed by a soft water system. The soft water system is manufactured by a totally different company. On a side note, I've tried filters in this housing by several different manufacturers. In the end, you'll have to decide which filter you prefer.

A: We do not offer a filter in our line that fits this heavy duty filter housing to reduce these products.
Q: Where can I buy charcoal filters for the Culligan whole house system
A: There are many manufacturers of filters for this whole house system. I've bought filters everywhere from Menards, to Amazon.
A: Best Buy does not install. You'll need to hire a plumber, though installation is easy, and should take less than an hour. Your plumber can easily adapt your water line to fit the 1" inlet on this Culligan system.
