DOOM Eternal Standard Edition - Xbox One, Xbox Series X

Doom Eternal sticks with the script that made the franchise so popular. Lots of crazy weapons and a lot of carnage. If you like the 2016 remake of Doom then this game won't disappoint.

This is one of my favorite game franchises. They really did a great job with this game. The graphics and character design were done really well. If you’re a fan of DOOM this is a must own.

I have no idea how this game could get better than Doom 2016, but they pulled it off. New setting and environments that all feel fresh, new gameplay mechanics involving platforming and character and weapon customization. New everything. This game is a blast and I have yet to come across one dull moment. This is a must buy for any FPS fan. I got the beautiful steel book case and it is very sexy.

It's as if the Texan mindset for guns and bullets manifested itself into a video game. Dumb fun.

The game is good so far but Best Buy has really dropped the ball on this one, I guess my real issue is with Best Buy and how they handled my pre order for this game which I pre ordered since February 7th. Anyone who preordered this game online was aware that the order would include the following pre order bonuses: RIP and tear pack and a digital copy of Doom 64 both in the form of digital codes. However, myself and others never recieved either digital bonus. What's worse is how this is being handled by BestBuy. I have already been checking my emails and spam as it says on their website. I contact Bestbuy by phone and waited three hours to talk to someone, I try to explain my issue and the agent never asks me for information, but he says that hes going to look at my account and quickly puts me on hold, where I wait another 15-20 minutes only to be greeted by a new agent who didn't understand that I was supposed to be receiving both the rip and tear pack and doom 64, she told me that I would only be entitled to one. The problem is that she told me that she would make note and report this to a "code master" but to keep checking my email; which I've been doing. It's been several days and no resolution to report. I cant chat with anyone on BestBuys website because it just keeps disconnecting me as soon as I put in my name and email and tells me to refresh and start again. There's a mix of people claiming that they have recieved theirs but alot who havent-noted on bestbuys own forums, there's even people who have not even recieved their game. Either way, its frustrating. I'm not asking for much..I'm simply asking to recieve what I paid for in its entirety. Is that too much to ask?? Since I couldn't really post this on Best buys forums it's why i posted this here, i would love some help with this situation..it would be appreciated.

Awesomeness in a game. Definitely a must buy. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Need i say more ? Buy it already!

Story: As I said, this was my first DOOM experience so I didn't know if I would be engaged, but I loved it. The amount of lore hidden around the world was amazing, and truly brought the player into the world of the Slayer. I know some people disliked the use of cut scenes in this game, but I thought they were a pleasant respite from the action and helped to flesh out the story, especially if you didn't feel like reading all of your Codex entries mid-game. The Fortress of Doom also made the character feel more real than I was expecting. 10/10 Aesthetic: Beautiful, brutal, grisly fun all around. Being able to see the damage done to individual demons is incredibly cool, and adds a pseudo-health bar that is so unique. the environments are massive and well thought out. I truly enjoyed looking at this game as I played it and took time to take in the scenery. Plus the music is so intense and perfect for the feel of the game. 10/10
