The story is emotional, well written, and keeps you engaged from start to finish, especially the relationship between Kratos and Atreus. Characters feel deep and meaningful, and the pacing is excellent. Combat feels smooth and satisfying, with plenty of variety thanks to different abilities, weapons, and enemy types. On PS5, the visuals are stunning — environments are detailed, animations are fluid, and performance is very stable. Load times are fast, which keeps immersion high. This game strikes a great balance between action, exploration, puzzles, and storytelling. It feels polished, cinematic, and rewarding to play. Easily one of the best PlayStation titles available and a must-play for any PS5 owner.

Kratos’ journey with his son Atreus is powerful, emotional, and filled with moments that feel both epic and intimate. The combat is exceptional the Leviathan Axe is one of the most satisfying weapons in any game, with weighty swings, rewarding combos, and the sheer joy of throwing it and calling it back. Enemies and bosses are varied and challenging, making every encounter meaningful. Visually, the game is stunning. From snowy mountain peaks to eerie forests and ancient Norse realms, every environment feels alive and meticulously crafted. The single-shot camera perspective keeps you immersed from beginning to end. But what truly elevates God of War is its heart. The relationship between Kratos and Atreus is rich and complex, revealing layers of vulnerability, growth, and redemption that few action games attempt let alone perfect. A masterpiece in every sense, God of War earns its five stars with ease.

I've played the previous God of War series on PS4, but the new PS5 and new techniques in the game just makes it one of my favorites game on Playstation. Play and you won't regrate.

GOW shows off the capabilities of the PS5 with amazing graphics and smooth gameplay. The story is great and the characters are very well thought out. Definitely a must-play.
