good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for keeping your ipad safe. I have a 5 year old and he uses the ipad more than us. So we wanted to keep it safe. The case has protected it from multiple drops and falls. The only down side is that the kickstand that it comes with is not very stable. And hard for a kid to use. So when my son wants to watch A movie he has to get me to open the kickstand. Or if he wants to watch in bed he has to prop it up with a pillow cause the kickstand is too unstable for soft surfaces.

Great protection you can get for ipad.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great protection you can get for ipad 2, after a broke ipad screen i decided to get a protective case for my new ipad, it really protects from drop and scratches. It has double cover protection. It also looks cool. Easy to install. It kinds at heavier than other cases but i rather carry a heavier case than broken ipad glass.

Nice Protective case for an iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace an older case for my iPad. Wanted something that wasn't too cumbersome while providing the desired level of protection. This case is nice, compact, and provides very good protection. One negative about the case is that while there is a plastic layer protecting the screen from scratches, there is no hard protection to protect the screen from impacts.

Excellent Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having problems with products being too restrictive (where you need special connectors to use headphones and chargers) and others not strong enough, and after my kids had cracked 3 screens, I decided to try this product. Was not too pricey compared to the others and seemed very sturdy. It was tough to get on at first, but once it was on, it's a breeze to use! Comfortable, not too bulky and protects my ipad from all angles. I'm VERY happy with it.

When your iPad cracks? What next?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I was not really in the market for a IPAD cover in till my IPAD ended up with a nice crack on the top part of the screen. So not having the 299.99 to buy a new one I ended up buy this Griffin case for 34.00 it as 84.00. I got it at a steal. I am a girly girl and I like to mix and match my cases and iPad cover. But I have to say it was nice not to have to change it and I comes with a stand. It really nice.

Best case for protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The case was purchased for my 7 year old grandson. We all know how children can be with electronics and this is the second case that I have purchased for him for his iPad, they are tough, durable and keeps the thin design of the iPad from breaking under his playing with it and fighting for it with his 2 year old sister. Would recommend this is the case you buy if you want your iPad protected and not broken.

Great Case
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my 8 year old daughter as she likes to take her IPad with her EVERYWHERE rain or shine. This case so far has been very durable and the few times it has got wet, no water was on the inside. The already attached screen saver and the outside has endured a few drops and so far no damage to the IPAD. I highly recommend this product as of this writing. No issues.

Q: QuestionI need to know if an iPad 1 will fit in the Griffin Survivor case?I can't find the specs for the iPad one anyplace. Every time I get my husband a new one I cycle the old one to a Grandson(age 9 & 12). Just gave the 9 year old the iPad 1 and I wanted to get him a nice case for it.

This question was asked about the related product: Griffin - Black/ Survivor All-Terrain Case for iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad (4th gen) - Blue
- A:Answer Wikipedia has the dimensions for the original iPad. Do a search for iPad 1. As best I recall, there are some differences in the iPad 1 and later versions. I can't remember if it was camera placement or other things, but I don't think the survivor case will fit the iPad 1.

Q: QuestionWhat happens if I have a griffin survivor case, it is dropped, and the iPad screen breaks?I bought a griffin survivor when I got an iPad. I accidentally dropped it about 3 1/2 feet and my screen spiderwebbed in the bottom left corner. I bought this case because I believed in the product features were it said: "Polycarbonate frame Protects your iPad from damage if dropped and resists shattering." I would like to know if I can get my screened replaced because I depended on you product.
Asked by Danny.
- A:Answer We're so sorry to hear about your iPad! We make Survivor as protective as possible, but even it can't protect against every incident, and lots of different factors ranging from the speed of the fall, the angle of the landing, whether it hit anything on the way down, and even previous shocks that didn't cause visible damage, can determine whether your device comes out unscathed. It is true that our warranty does not cover damage to your device, but if you believe that your Survivor may have been defective in some way, please get in touch with our support team and we'll get to the bottom of it: http://grff.in/support
