Ridiculously over-engineered? Or the perfect case for your iPad no matter where you're headed?.
We think it's a little bit of both.
Simply put, the Griffin Survivor All-Terrain Case is the most protective case we've ever built.
Tested to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F, Griffin's Survivor All-Terrain Military-Duty Case is designed from the inside out to protect your iPad 2 and iPad 3 from extreme conditions ... dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors.
Survivor All-Terrain is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in rugged, shock absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector seals your Multi-Touch display from the outside environment, while hinged plugs seal the dock connector, camera lens, headphone port, hold switch and volume controls. The included stand clips on, then folds open for landscape viewing and typing.
Survivor All-Terrain is independently tested and verified to meet or exceed environmental testing standards for blown rain, blown dust and grit, vibration, shock, temperature and humidity.
A: iPad 2, 3, and 4 are all the same size and shape, so this case will fit any of them just fine.
Q: Do you have this in a 10.5”
A: Yes, as these are all 9.5” tablets.
Q: I need to know if an iPad 1 will fit in the Griffin Survivor case?
A: Wikipedia has the dimensions for the original iPad. Do a search for iPad 1. As best I recall, there are some differences in the iPad 1 and later versions. I can't remember if it was camera placement or other things, but I don't think the survivor case will fit the iPad 1.
Q: keyboard
A: Any apple keyboard
Q: What happens if I have a griffin survivor case, it is dropped, and the iPad screen breaks?
A: We're so sorry to hear about your iPad! We make Survivor as protective as possible, but even it can't protect against every incident, and lots of different factors ranging from the speed of the fall, the angle of the landing, whether it hit anything on the way down, and even previous shocks that didn't cause visible damage, can determine whether your device comes out unscathed. It is true that our warranty does not cover damage to your device, but if you believe that your Survivor may have been defective in some way, please get in touch with our support team and we'll get to the bottom of it: http://grff.in/support
