This is my second one and the first one worked well but did not last longer than a year. The second one did not work well. The dvd spinning was louder than the movie itself. Wanted to love it but sadly had to return.

The quality and sound is a 4.5 out of 5. The kids are 3 and 4. I highly recommend it.

- A:Answer I'm 70 with good hearing and think the sound it quite low at its highest level. The sound is really quite good if the DVD player is within 4-6 feet of the viewer though.
